Aurora was launched in September 2006 and was formally created through a love of close harmony singing by Dawn Kelly (Founder and Operational Director).

The group is an inclusive women’s A Cappella choir and is open to all females with an interest in singing.

Our membership is made up of women of all ages and singing abilities. We are renowned for being warm, friendly, and welcoming. If you are interested in joining our choir, please feel free to drop in on a Monday evening, to see, hear and meet us, you can be sure of a warm welcome.

1. To enrich the lives of its members by providing a non-threatening, friendly environment, a place where members meet each week, to share the pleasure of singing. Members of Aurora benefit by learning and developing skills in singing and performance, which may lead to an increase in confidence and self esteem.
2. To give something back to the local community by providing a safe place for women to meet and by giving performances throughout the year to raise funds for charities and other good causes.
